1. Who we are

iLoveEffects ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at iloveeffects.com, a free online tool that lets you download a publicly available Streamable video as an MP4 file. This policy covers that website and nothing else.

By using the site you accept the practices described here. If you disagree with any part of it, please stop using the site.

2. Summary in plain English

We do not ask you to register. There are no accounts, usernames or passwords.

We do not store the links you paste or the videos you download. Both are handled inside your own browser.

We do not sell personal information. Not to anyone, at any price.

We do show advertising. Advertising partners use cookies, and that is the main way any data about your visit is collected. Sections 6 through 9 explain it and tell you how to switch it off.

3. Streamable links you paste

This is the part people care about most, so it gets its own section.

When you paste a Streamable link into the downloader, your browser requests that video's publicly available information directly. Your browser then requests the video file from Streamable's own delivery network and assembles it locally before saving it to your device.

The link is not saved to a database.
The video file is not uploaded to, copied to, or cached on our servers. We do not host video files at all.
Your download history is not recorded. Whatever appears on screen disappears when you close or reload the tab.
If a direct request is blocked by browser security rules, the request may be relayed through a public third-party relay service so it can complete. In that case the Streamable link passes through that provider, and their own privacy practices apply to that request. No other information about you is included.

4. Information we collect

Information you give us voluntarily

The only way to hand us personal information is to contact us. If you use the contact page or email us at support@iloveeffects.com, we receive your name, your email address, and whatever you write. We use it solely to reply to you and we keep it no longer than needed to resolve your enquiry.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our hosting provider and our advertising partners automatically receive limited technical information when you load a page. This is described in sections 5 through 8.

What we never collect

No payment or financial information. The tool is free and there is nothing to buy.
No precise location data.
No contact lists, photos, files or device storage access.
No biometric or sensitive category data.

5. Server log files

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, as virtually all web hosts do. These logs may include your IP address, browser type and version, internet service provider, date and time of your visit, referring page and pages viewed. This information is not linked to anything personally identifiable and is used for aggregate traffic analysis, diagnosing technical faults and protecting the site from abuse.

6. Cookies

A cookie is a small text file a website or its partners can store in your browser. Cookies used on this site fall into two groups.

Cookies we set

The downloader itself does not require cookies to function, and we do not set cookies for tracking or profiling purposes. If we ever add a strictly functional cookie, for example to remember a display preference, this policy will be updated to name it.

Cookies set by third parties

Advertising and analytics partners may set their own cookies when you view a page containing their content. We do not control those cookies and cannot read them. Their use is governed by each partner's own privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop the Streamable downloader from working.

7. Advertising partners

Some advertising on this site may be delivered by third-party advertising networks. Each of these networks has its own privacy policy governing its data practices.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies such as cookies, JavaScript and web beacons in the advertisements and links that appear on iLoveEffects. These are sent directly to your browser and automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. Advertising partners use these technologies to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and to personalise the advertising content you see.

iLoveEffects has no access to or control over the cookies used by third-party advertisers. We cannot read them, change them or delete them on your behalf.

Google may be one of the third-party vendors serving advertisements on this site.

Google uses cookies, including the DoubleClick DART cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites on the internet.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Opting out of personalised advertising does not remove advertising from the site. It means the advertising you see will be less relevant to your interests.

9. Your choices and opt-outs

Browser cookie controls. Every major browser lets you block third-party cookies, clear existing cookies, or browse in a private window. Look under Settings, then Privacy.
Google Ads Settings. Turn off ad personalisation across Google's advertising products at google.com/settings/ads.
Network-wide opt-outs. Use the Digital Advertising Alliance or Network Advertising Initiative tools to opt out of many participating networks at once.
Content blockers. Ad and tracker blocking extensions work on this site. We would rather you saw the ads that keep the tool free, but we will not fight you over it.

10. GDPR and CCPA rights

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights over personal information about you.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom

You have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Because we do not build user profiles, in practice the only personal data we are likely to hold about you is an email exchange you started.

If you are a California resident

You have the right to know what categories of personal information are collected, to request deletion of personal information, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@iloveeffects.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Children's privacy

iLoveEffects is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We encourage parents and guardians to supervise their children's online activity and to help enforce this policy by instructing children never to provide personal information on any website without permission.

12. How we protect information

The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted. The downloader validates every link before use and will only request files from Streamable's own domains, which prevents the tool from being abused to fetch arbitrary content. Because we hold almost no data, there is very little to breach.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Third-party sites

This policy applies only to iLoveEffects. Streamable, advertising partners and any other site you reach from here each operate under their own privacy policies. We have no control over their content or practices and encourage you to read their policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, our advertising partners or the law. The revision date at the top of the page will always show when it last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
